Restoration is not reconstruction.

We preserve the original
machine.

We specialize in restoring authentic vintage Italian Vespa and Lambretta scooters, preserving their original frames and engines while bringing each machine back to a high standard of reliability and finish.

Every scooter is carefully assessed and restored by our experienced mechanics. The original frame and engine remain at the heart of the process, while aged or worn components are replaced with carefully selected parts manufactured for vintage Vespa and Lambretta models.

The identity of each machine can be traced through its unique frame and engine serial numbers. These numbers provide an important reference when verifying the scooter's model and original identity.

01 Original Frame

The frame remains the foundation of the restoration, carefully inspected, repaired and aligned where required.

02 Original Engine

Original engines are retained and rebuilt according to their condition and identity.

03 Authentic Character

The goal is not to erase the machine's history, but to restore it while respecting its original character.

A machine is restored piece by piece.

Disassemble.
Inspect.
Restore.

A proper restoration begins long before paint is applied. Each vintage Vespa or Lambretta is completely disassembled so that the frame, engine and individual components can be examined on their own terms.

The objective is simple: preserve what is original and structurally sound, repair what can be saved, and replace what time has genuinely worn beyond service.

01
The Frame

Back to bare metal.

The scooter is completely stripped before restoration begins. Rubber, plastic, leather, aged aluminium trim, electrical wiring and harnesses are removed so the original structure can be properly examined.

The frame is taken back to bare metal and inspected for cracks, previous repairs, structural damage and alignment. Where necessary, it is repaired and adjusted before moving into the body and paint process.

02
Paint & Finish

Colour is part of the machine's identity.

Once the frame has been repaired and aligned, the bodywork is prepared for paint. A primer coat is followed by multiple layers of high-quality paint, carefully applied to achieve a durable finish while respecting the character of the original model.

03
Engine Rebuild

The original engine remains at the heart of the scooter.

The engine is cleaned and inspected for cracks, stripped threads and bearing-surface tolerances. Pistons, rings, carburetors, bearings and clutch components are replaced where required, while the gears and clutch assembly are rebuilt and tested as part of the restoration.

04
New Where Necessary

Replace what time has taken.

A vintage scooter cannot be preserved simply by keeping every old component. Aged cylinders, cylinder heads, exhaust systems, rubber hoses, brake shoes, shocks, springs, seats, tires, cables, locks and electrical components are replaced where their condition requires it.

The majority of these replacement components are new, purpose-made parts for Vespa and Lambretta scooters, selected to support reliability without compromising the identity of the original machine.

Replace / Retain

New parts, where needed.

A faithful restoration does not mean replacing everything. We retain sound original components and replace aged, worn or unreliable parts where necessary.

Throughout the restoration, each component is inspected before a decision is made. Parts that have reached the end of their useful life are replaced with carefully selected components suited to the original Vespa or Lambretta.

From mechanical components and electrical parts to rubber, cables, brakes, suspension, tyres, seats and other aged details, the goal is reliability without losing the character of the original machine.

05 / Our Standards Craftsmanship / Responsibility
Behind Every Machine

We stand behind our work.

Every scooter that leaves our workshop carries more than a restored appearance. It carries the attention, judgment and responsibility of the people who worked on it.

Our restoration process is hands-on from beginning to end. As a family-owned workshop, we remain closely involved throughout each restoration, from the first inspection of the machine to its final preparation for export.

We do not restore scooters simply to make them look new. We work to return each machine to a condition that respects its original character while making it dependable for the road and ready for its next chapter.

We refine the process.
And protect the result.

Restoration is never a finished formula. We continue to refine our methods, materials and inspection standards as we learn more from every machine.

We pay close attention to the components that matter most to the reliability and character of a vintage scooter. Fuel tanks, engine components, electrical parts and other aged items are evaluated carefully before being replaced.

Where replacement is necessary, we source components from trusted manufacturers and suppliers, including selected Italian-made parts. Fuel tanks, for example, are properly prepared, primed and finished before installation.

Engine components such as pistons, cylinders, cylinder heads and crankshafts are selected with the same attention to quality and compatibility. Every scooter is monitored through its restoration and checked before it leaves the workshop.

01

Refine the Method

We continually improve how each stage of restoration is prepared, executed and inspected.

02

Choose with Care

Replacement components are selected for quality, suitability and the demands of the original machine.

03

Monitor Every Machine

Each scooter remains under close attention throughout the restoration process and before export.
