Begin with a vintage Vespa or Lambretta from our current collection, or tell us what kind of Italian scooter you would like us to restore.
Our inventory includes individually restored vintage scooters selected in Vietnam. Each machine is different, so availability, condition, specification and restoration details are confirmed before an order is finalized.
If you are looking for a particular model, colour or specification that is not currently listed, contact us. We can discuss the possibility of finding a suitable vintage machine and restoring it to your requirements.
Custom restoration requests depend on the availability of suitable vintage machines, original or appropriate components and the requested specification. We confirm what is possible before restoration begins.
Once you have selected a scooter, contact us for a personalized quotation. We confirm the scooter, specification and delivery details before payment is arranged.
For an in-stock vintage Vespa or Lambretta, we will confirm current availability and the details of the machine shown in our inventory. For a custom restoration, we will discuss the model, colour, finish, accessories and restoration requirements with you.
Your destination is also important. International shipping arrangements and applicable delivery costs are confirmed as part of the quotation so that you understand the agreed purchase and delivery terms before proceeding.
Send us the model you are interested in, your preferred specification and any questions you have. If you are looking for a custom restoration, include your preferred model and colour.
We review your request and confirm availability, restoration details and any agreed accessories or custom requirements before the order is finalized.
We provide the agreed purchase and delivery information for your scooter. Once you are satisfied with the quotation, you can proceed to payment and order confirmation.
Vintage machines vary in condition, specification, parts availability and restoration requirements. We therefore confirm the details of each order directly rather than treating every scooter as identical.
Once your scooter, specification and quotation have been confirmed, we will provide the payment details required to proceed with your order.
Dolce Vita Scooters accepts international bank wire transfers and card-based payments through established international money transfer services. The available payment route may depend on your country and the transaction.

Customers who prefer to pay by card may use Wise or Remitly to send the agreed payment amount, where the required card and transfer options are available for the transaction.

Choose the available payment method that suits you.
Send the agreed payment using the provided instructions.
We confirm receipt before the order moves forward.
Please do not send payment to an account or recipient that has not been confirmed directly by Dolce Vita Scooters. Any applicable fees charged by your bank or payment provider are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
What happens after payment depends on whether you have selected a scooter already completed and available in our inventory, or asked us to restore a vintage machine to your specification.
In both cases, our team coordinates the necessary preparation in Vietnam before the scooter is released for international shipment.
If you purchase a scooter that is already completed and available at our workshop, we move directly into the ownership transfer and export preparation process.
Ownership Transfer
We complete the applicable vehicle ownership
transfer procedures for the buyer.
Registration Documents
We arrange the required procedures for
deleting the scooter from its Vietnamese
registration certificate for export.
Export Preparation
Once the required documentation is prepared,
we coordinate the scooter's export process
with our shipping forwarder.
Shipping Schedule
We book the available shipping schedule
with our forwarder and prepare the scooter
for international transport.
If you have ordered a custom-built vintage Vespa or Lambretta, restoration begins after payment has been received and the project requirements have been confirmed.
Restoration Begins
Our workshop begins the restoration according
to the agreed model, colour, specification
and restoration requirements.
Progress Updates
We send photographs during the restoration
so you can follow the work as your scooter
takes shape.
Finished Scooter
When restoration is complete, we photograph
the finished scooter and send the final
images to you for confirmation.
Ready for Export
After the finished scooter is confirmed,
we proceed with the necessary export
preparation and arrange international
shipping.
Restoration photographs are progress updates rather than a substitute for the final inspection. For custom orders, the finished scooter photographs provide the final visual confirmation before export preparation and shipping proceed.
Once all required export documents are ready and the shipping schedule has been confirmed by our forwarder, we hand the scooter over to the forwarder for international shipment.
The forwarder handles the wooden crate packaging, export customs clearance and shipment arrangements so your vintage Vespa or Lambretta can leave Vietnam properly prepared for international transport.
After the export documentation is complete, our forwarder confirms the available shipping schedule and we arrange the handover of the scooter.
We deliver the scooter to our appointed forwarder, who takes responsibility for the next stages of packaging and export shipment preparation.
The scooter is prepared and secured inside a wooden shipping crate for international transport, with protection appropriate for the journey.
Our forwarder handles the export customs clearance and the required shipment procedures before the consignment leaves Vietnam.
Our usual shipping schedule has the consignment going on board on Sunday each week, subject to the forwarder's confirmed sailing schedule.
Customers may choose to purchase shipping insurance at an additional cost. If you would like insurance, let us know when confirming your shipping arrangements so the applicable cost and coverage can be included in your quotation.

Once the scooter has been exported from Vietnam and shipped to its destination, the final stage is delivery according to the shipping arrangement confirmed in your quotation.
For door-to-door shipments, the forwarder coordinates the onward delivery to the agreed destination address. Delivery arrangements and local procedures can vary depending on the destination country.
The consignment arrives in the destination country and proceeds through the applicable import and delivery procedures.
Where door-to-door delivery is included in your confirmed shipping arrangement, the forwarder coordinates delivery to the agreed address.
When the scooter arrives, inspect the wooden crate and its exterior condition before opening it. We recommend taking photographs or video if you notice any visible damage.
Carefully open the crate and check the scooter, accessories and visible condition against the agreed specification and final photographs.
Your vintage Vespa or Lambretta has completed its journey from our workshop in Vietnam and is ready for the next chapter with its new owner.
If the crate or packaging shows visible signs of transport damage, document the condition clearly with photographs and contact us as soon as possible. This documentation can be important when handling a shipping or insurance claim.

Receiving your scooter is only the beginning of ownership. Once the scooter has arrived, we provide the full set of legal export and vehicle documents required for you to proceed with registration in your country.
Using these documents, the new owner can complete the local registration process and obtain the appropriate registration and license plate according to the requirements of the destination country.
Dolce Vita Scooters provides the full set of legal documents prepared for the export and transfer of the scooter.
The owner uses the supplied documentation to complete the registration process and apply for a new license plate with the relevant authority in the destination country.
Once local registration and any required road-legal procedures are complete, your restored vintage scooter is ready to be enjoyed on the road.
Your relationship with Dolce Vita does not end when the scooter leaves Vietnam. Our team remains available to support you throughout ownership, including questions that may arise during use of your scooter.
Every scooter is covered by our applicable warranty, and our support continues after delivery. If you have questions about the scooter, its components, operation, maintenance or ownership, you can contact us and our team will assist wherever we can.
